About Copthorne Residents Society

The formal objectives of the Copthorne Residents Society are to “to act in the interest of the members in all matters relating to their civic and social amenities.” 

What this means in practice is the Executive Committee manage Copthorne Road and Chess Vale Rise on behalf of the Trustees of the Society – this entails covering the liabilities and upkeep of the road (which we resurfaced in 1979, 2005 and will do so again when necessary).

We hold a social Annual General Meeting every January/February.
